Teach Outback is the initiative of three young mothers with 11 children between them, who live on remote farms/stations in Queensland, Australia. Whilst educating and caring for children, helping to manage busy properties and households, they rely heavily on the ability to employ professional teachers and nannies.

The team are passionate about providing quality education and care to the children living in rural and remote Australia. Teach Outback was born from the desire to see more professional teachers and child care educators step out of urban positions and share their expertise with the families of regional Australia.

Our Mission Statement

Teach Outbackā€™s aim is to provide families in rural and remote areas of Australia with access to qualified and experienced teachers and child care educators (nannies), who will provide children with quality care and learning opportunities.  Professionals will have the opportunity to experience the unique lifestyle that comes with working in outback classrooms and homes.
